My name is Bernadette Chalke and I went to The New England Institute of Art for 2 years. I realized that college wasn't for me, so I decided to use the skills I learned, and the rest was self-taught.  

My Happy Kitty character was created on October 2nd 2008. I've been developing her for awhile, and then created her into a book called "Kitty Makes a Wish." This book was written and Illustrated by myself. Happy Kitty now has many friends including Little Frog, Bunny Bun, Salem, Puppy and Hamster.
